Known for Eldora Ski Mountain, Frozen Dead Guy Days, and its small mountain town atmosphere, Nederland is a popular place for tourists and small, local businesses.  Its name means “Low Land,” which a casual observer can’t help but find ironic as it’s located at 8,240 feet above sea level.

Its picturesque Barker Meadow Reservoir and mountain views make this town a beautiful place to hike, bike and of course, ski.  Its close proximity to Indian Peaks Wilderness, Rocky Mountain National Park and Roosevelt National forest make it a favorite for outdoor enthusiasts.
